Kayla

Kayla is a born and raised Boulderite and currently lives there with her husband Scott and son Lewis! Her passions include traveling, hiking, skiing, and setting wedding tables to perfection! 

When not planning weddings you can find her enjoying happy hour and hikes with friends, skiing those beautiful powdery Colorado mountains, and planning the next big adventure with Scott—currently planning a two-month adventure in Australia!

Kayla has been in the hospitality and customer service industry for ten years and it truly is her passion. Weddings are her absolute favorite and you will see that love for what she does when you meet her. She loves getting to know couples, learning what the most essential part of the wedding is for them, their concerns, their family dynamics, and their wedding vision, and helping to put all of that into the perfect day.

Her favorite part of weddings is the first dance, it is such a sweet and quiet moment during the wedding day and after that, the dance party starts! She also loves to hear people’s choices for the last song, her current favorite is “Send Me On My Way” by Rusted Root! 

Alex

Alex is originally from small-town Pennsylvania.  When she graduated from Penn State with a degree in Hospitality Management, she moved to Boulder to join her sister Amanda.  Although she loved the mountains, it seemed like she needed a few more years of exploring and moving around the country- even landing in Hawaii! 

Finally, her love for the Rockies and family pulled her back to Colorado where she resides today.  She is ever learning and continuing to develop her passion for hospitality. After nearly two decades in the industry, she can say without hesitation, weddings are her calling. She loves helping her couples plan along the way and the excitement when their vision comes together on wedding day!

 Alex lives with her chef fiance in Longmont.  They enjoy cooking together and hosting picnics, breakfast gatherings, and tasty dinner parties.  When she’s not entertaining in her own home she loves to explore the food and beverage scene all over Colorado.  Alex is a painter and dabbler of many other arts.  Need help with wedding craft advice?  She’s your girl!  You can usually find her hiking, kayaking, painting, swimming, or snuggling with her chocolate lab puppy, Jolene. 

 Alex’s favorite part of a wedding?  Their vows.  You can always tell how much a couple truly loves each other in this raw and honest moment.
